| Anthony Coelho has been a master woodwind performer for the past thirty years. He has performed for names such as Bob Hope, Robert Goulet, Michael Feinstein, Rose Marie, Helen O'Connell, Margaret Whiting, and Helen Forrest. He regularly travels throughout the six state New England Region as well as New York and new Jersey. Locations such as the Mansions of Newport Rhode Island, the finest hotels and private clubs of Boston and Nantucket, and the many Private Country Clubs/Yachting Clubs throughout New England are where you will find Anthony Coelho. Highlight performances include the Centennial Gala at Boston's Symphony Hall in October 2000 with Peter Duchin Society Orchestra. In 2004, Mr. Coelho performed with Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra backing entertainer Michael Feinstein. Mr. Coelho is a featured soloist with the popular "Classic Flute Duos" and also with the New Orleans style jazz band "A Little Bit of Dixie". As a Master Life-Certified educator, Mr. Coelho's private students regularly receive high awards and preferred placements in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts ALL STATE MUSIC FESTIVALS. Many of his students have gone on to become Master Musicians of the highest level. A native of New Bedford Massachusetts, Mr. Coelho currently resides with his wife, Susan, and daughter, Erin, in Seekonk, Massachusetts. |
