Officiating a wedding or memorial service is always a wonderful experience for me. These events focus on an individual's best qualities and provide an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate a life that is just beginning or one that has just passed away. I always feel honored to share in these moments.

Your wedding day is one of most important days of your life. Because the marriage ceremony is a very special part of the wedding day, my job is to do everything possible to make it meaningful and memorable for the two of you.

Types of Weddings

Interfaith, Inter-cultural, Religious, Traditional, Spiritual and Theme Weddings - all are appropriate and possible. My most enjoyable moments occur when children participate in the ceremony. Their role in the marriage ceremony and the forming of a new family unit helps them to understand the big change that is occurring in their life (or is it lives?) and their role in it.

Every ceremony is customized to reflect your desires and values. We co-create it using information supplied by you along with selections from a 64-page booklet containing a variety of convocations, vows, addresses, and tradition marriage ceremony rituals from a wide variety of cultures. You may edit, combine selections, write some of it or have me write a special passage. It is your wedding and you should have exactly what you want.

Before Wedding Counseling

Counseling or marriage classes are not required. However, statistics are available to support the fact that 85% of couples who participate in a program to prepare them for the long-term commitment of marriage sustain and maintain a strong marriage relationship as opposed to 51% of those who do not consciously prepare for their marriage relationship. "Prepare and Enrich" is an exceptional assessment tool. The results, delivered by me, will provide you with insight into some areas for growth and exercises and suggestions for working through differences that may make or break your relationship. I am a certified Prepare and Enrich facilitator and counselor.
