Need versatility? You have come to the right place! In full force After Hours Band is an 8-piece dancing machine, churning out one dance song after another to keep everyone dancing all night long. We also perform as a 3 piece jazz trio (piano, sax and bass) if you need softer music for dinner or cocktail hour, or for background music at a party. Need just piano, or just piano and bass? No problem. And we can do combinations of all of these at the same event. Our client feedback says it all: the end result is that every customer is thrilled with what they got with us!

We have been playing weddings, parties and corporate events for the past 8 years. Swing, Motown, Disco, Rock, Soul. Its a party platter for your feet! All of our band members are seasoned and professional in our approach to music. This means that we are dependable, responsive and reliable, in addition to being great musicians!

We are also a self-managed band, which means that all details regarding your event will be discussed DIRECTLY with one of our band members, either Terry or Alan. This means that you don't have to worry about communication problems, pronunciations of your wedding party members' names or any other misunderstandings common to bands who use a manager. We handle all of the details ourselves, and we pride ourselves on the results!

For all of our full-band shows we hire professional sound engineers to provide and run a PA for us at no additional charge to you. This means that you get top-notch audio at the volume level of your choice. We understand that many of our events are attended by the very young and the very old, and we cater our sound to our entire audience!

We offer 2 or 3 sets of dance music, depending on how long your event is, and the cocktail hour jazz set.

As mentioned before, we are also available for smaller ensemble gigs. If you want a 2, 3, 4 or 5 piece band to play some jazz standards for an hour or two at your event, let us know. "No job too big or too small."
